Netmarble announced the first content update for its pet-collecting MMORPG, StoneAge World. This update introduces Machine Invasion, namely the first Machine Pet invasion in Tectonika. The weekly battle against Machine Pet and other in-game improvements are now available for players to tackle.

Machine Invasion will take place every week on a designated day. One of the Kaki family—the Machine Pets—will invade Gravelin Island, and Trainers must defeat them to protect the island. Players can battle the Machine Pets up to 10 times on the day they appear. Upon success, players will receive rewards based on the number of times they participated and the total damage dealt to the Machine Pets.

As part of its new weekly content, Netmarble has also launched the ‘Terminate the Machine’ event, which runs through July 16. In addition to receiving rewards each time players successfully complete daily missions, rewards based on overall participation will also be given to players who take part in this event. In addition, the ‘Event Ticket’ will be available this week. Players can earn Tickets redeemable based on the number of daily participants in Stone Age Life, as well as other new missions that give players the chance to receive items based on the number of Stones and Shells used.

StoneAge World features a Pet collection concept and a role-playing game (RPG) system. These two concepts are combined with a fun and adventure-filled MMO experience set in prehistoric times. In this game set in Tectonika, players take on the role of a “Trainer”—a powerful Warrior responsible for protecting Tectonika from enemies by collecting, taming, and training Pets. With over 250 pets—ranging from dinosaurs, woolly mammoths, pigs, wolves, and many more—players will explore the unique prehistoric society and defend Tectonika from the threat of mysterious enemies originating from the Machine Civilization.
